Third Party Watch is now being managed by the infamous Shane Cory. Below is an email Cory sent to TPW writers today:
Dear TPW Contributors,
As you may have already heard, Richard Viguerie has purchased the Web site, ThirdPartyWatch.com.
Richard’s plans are to continue Stephen’s direction with the site by doingthe best thing possible by allowing Stephen to serve as the editor of thesite if he so chooses. We’ll be talking to Stephen in Denver.
The site will continue to function in the same manner as it has with fewexceptions. As noted in the announcement, we’re also working ontransitioning over to a new, robust server along with significant upgradesto the backend and other operations.
The staff here will also be available to copyedit your work and that isreally the only change for the time being.
Please continue to post your work but save in draft mode, we’ll take a look, edit and review here in Manassas and will publish to the site for you.
Until I hand this off to a staffer here in the office, I’ll be dealing with TPW for now so please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thanks for everything!
Best Regards,
Shane Cory

Cory has already managed to censor at least one article. Some background on his motives here.
My comment on TPW that posted the same above communication was removed.
I asked Mr. Cory to delete me as a contributor and he replied and said he would.
I wash my hands of that.
I should add:
Now that I have been deleted, all the posts I wrote (only about 20 or so) about the Green Party appear to be gone.
Probably just an administrative mistake.
Ron – I’ve started a TPW alternative. Click my name to visit the site. We’d LOVE to have you.
Iv posted two articles, one critical of Barr, one linking to Independent Political Report—both were never posted.
Note that the LP platform, from which delegates eliminated secession in 2004, has a new plank in 2008:
“3.7. Self-Determination: Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of individual liberty, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to agree to such new governance as to them shall seem most likely to protect their liberty.” TAKE THAT, Shane. Let’s remind all the LP candidates of that frequently, too.
