Cork writes:

Rather than show any respect for veterans, we should use this day to remember those who do deserve to be remembered: those who have been slaughtered by the troops, those whose lives have been permanently destroyed by the troops, those who refused to serve, those who deserted the troops in times of battle, and those who betrayed their own country in times of war.

Now that’s a memorial day I could get behind.

Harry Browne wrote:

Memorial Day, when we pretend that we live in a free country because of all the people who were killed in the government’s senseless wars.

Fred Dardick reports:

Morris criticized Clinton for his Oklahoma City comments: “Let’s understand what was Timothy McVeigh’s motivation …he himself had said that it was the reaction to the Waco takeover. Bill Clinton orchestrated that takeover.”

Morris went on to say, “Clinton in fact was so ashamed about what he did in Waco that he was not going to appoint Janet Reno to a second four-year term. She told him in a meeting right before the inauguration day … ‘If you don’t appoint me I’m going to tell the truth about Waco.’ And that forced Clinton’s hand … It’s never been said (publicly) before.”

So Bill Clinton murdered 76 people in Waco, which supposedly led to the Oklahoma City bombing where 168 others died, and he has never been arrested and charged with any crimes? The man is a terrorist by any definition.

Obama is right about one thing: government is a monopoly on violence.

Government shill Jim Wolf regurgitates Pentagon propaganda as follows:

President Barack Obama’s Defense Department plans to create 20,000 new government jobs to help revise how it buys more than $100 billion of weapons each year, the Pentagon’s No. 2 official told Congress.

Who says gunverment doesn’t create jobs?

Len Hart reports:

A 370-page report by the Justice Department Inspector General references an FBI investigation of US torture that accuses the Bush White House, the National Security Council, the Pentagon and the Justice Department with ‘ordering and planning’ torture, including ‘procedures’ that resulted in death to ‘detainees’. In other words –murder!

The report details how the US began torturing captives in 2002. ‘Attempts to stop it … were systematically suppressed’, evidence of criminal activity by the Bush administration covered up. Bush’s cover up of torture is itself a crime for which he should be impeached, tried and prosecuted.

[...]

Worth remembering: the wars of naked aggression against Afghanistan and Iraq have, in fact, nothing at all to do with 911. Al Qaeda was created by the CIA; Bin Laden has been dead for years and was, when he was alive, one of Bush’s business partners and a CIA asset.

How much more evidence is needed before Bush is impeached?

The Canadian reports:

According to U.S. media reports, there are well below 5,000 U.S. soldiers who have been killed in Iraq. However, this data appears to be very misleading. Why? Because many tens of thousands of American soldiers have apparently been killed to-date, as a result of being exposed to radiation poisoning from the indiscriminate killing machines of U.S. military weaponry. Ironically, the only Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) that Americans soldiers have found in Iraq are “Made in America”.

U.S. investigative researchers have discovered an official U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs official, but not well publicized count, of 73,846 U.S. soldiers who have perished as an apparent result of Depleted Uranium based bio-chemical warfare exposure. This exceeds an estimate of 58,000 U.S. soldiers who had been killed in relation to the Vietnam War.

Well over 200,000 American soldiers could be killed by 2010, as a result of the after effects of exposure to U.S. dirty bombs.

Over One million U.S. soldiers have apparently been disabled from Depleted Uranium based biochemical exposure. Over one million Iraqis have also been documented to have been killed.

Over 1 million Iraqis and 200,000 Americans murdered by Bush. Why is this man still in office, let along not in jail awaiting trial?
