DAVE LINDORFF writes:

These “town meetings” are really nothing but propaganda sessions run by members of Congress who are trying to burnish their fraudulent credentials as public servants, and trying to perpetrate a huge fraud of a health care bill that purports to be a progressive “reform” of the US health care system, but that actually further entrenches the control of that system by the insurance industry, and to a lesser extent, the hospital and drug industry.

ObamaCare is to health reform what bank bailouts are to financial system reform, which is to say it is the opposite of what its name implies.

War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength.

Mark Joseph writes:

The only thing weirder than the Birthers are the anti-Birthers, who blame the Birthers for being conspiracy theorists yet actively feed the conspiracy by refusing to call for President Obama to release his birth certificate.

So what’s the problem here? Release the original and let’s be done with this madness.

Maybe there is nothing legit to release?

What is the deal with all the brain-dead children in adult bodies getting so offended by this cartoon? Racists are obviously trying to divide and distract by assuming the monkey is their Holy Savior, the Obamination.

The toon clearly represents 1) the current police state where people are murdered on a regular basis by the local gestapo and 2) that only a monkey could write something as idiotic as a the “stimulus” bill.

So, children, if the pigs murder your bill-writing monkey then you will have to find someone else to write more nanny-statism into law for your dependent selves. I would draw you a picture, but Delonas already has:

Karen McMahan reports:

Democrats in the U.S. House have been conducting hearings on proposals to confiscate workers’ personal retirement accounts — including 401(k)s and IRAs — and convert them to accounts managed by the Social Security Administration.

Karen DeCoster recommends:

It’s wise to think of withdrawing your 401k, taking the penalty and tax hit, and getting out. It has to be done before the government puts a freeze on any withdrawals (as I am sure it will do at some point), and doing so after December 31st gets you a tax deferral.

If you thought the Bush regime accelerated the pace of fascism, just wait until you get a taste of the Obama regime.

Paul Armentano writes:

We no longer have independent candidates representing the views of the electorate; rather, we have two corporate brands fighting for market share – the only tangible difference between the two is the advertising (campaign promises). Obama (Pepsi) promises to be the “choice of a new generation,” while McCain (Coca-Cola Classic) declares that he’s “the real thing.” But while the two products may taste slightly different, they both consist of the same basic ingredients.

[…]

For example, both Sens. Obama and McCain spent ample television time during the debates pledging to end “corporate welfare” as we know it. Sounds great, but only if voters ignore that both candidates (as well as VP nominee Joe Biden) just voted to spend hundreds of billions of taxpayers dollars to bail out giant corporations like AIG, General Motors and Chrysler.

The “change” Obama refers to is merely a flavor of fascism.
