Saddam Hussein planned to start selling oil in currencies other than worthless Federal Reserve Notes (dollars). The Bush regime acted swiftly by fabricating “weapons of mass destruction” lies which were used as a pretext to illegally invade Iraq and assassinate Hussein. WMD’s were never found in Iraq, obviously. The only WMD they possessed was their imminent contribution to the destruction of the already doomed dollar.
Iran has been planning on doing the same thing with their oil bourse for years. After many delays the first phase was opened in 2008. The second phase opened just a few short months ago. Thus the reason for the increased war-mongering against Iran as well as calls for tougher sanctions.
The only thing keeping the dollar alive is the demand created due to the reserve status it enjoys in oil trades. The empire is desperate.

Good point! but there are quiet a few other reasons such as:
- Iran must NOT set an example as an independent, strong country in the sea of puppets in the Middle East.
- No country in the ME should be able to challenge the hegemony of Israel, USA or other Western countries.
- No country in ME should become economically self sufficient so USA and the West can recycle the petrodollar by selling them unnecessary products.
-Israel and Zionists always need a “Hitler” to justify their oppression of Palestinians and theft of their land.
- West and in particular USA needs a boogieman in ME to divide and conquer as well as scaring the countries in the area to buy our military clearance junk.
- USA and West’s desire to keep the status quo as master and slave. A disobedient slave, Iran in this case, must be punished to scare other slaves to follow Iran’s independent path.
I’m sure there are few others which I missed to mention.
Comrade, you have some good points. I say could this be the “Balkanisation ” of the middle east. I have read that some of the “color revolution” countries are having second thoughts as they realize they have just bent over for someone carrying a big stick. Their economies are turning into piles of shit, as planned by the world bank. No wonder Wolfowitz ended up there.
Keep up the good work.
Good points.
You’ve just outlined US foreign policy in general, not just in the ME. Don’t forget the Western banks role in all this.
The banks use war as an economic engine to create debt.
That is the purpose of all western driven modern war, to create debt. Politics just fabricates the Casus belli, victory
isn’t the goal of war, it’s existence is. The debt the war
creates is the real prize. We removed Hussain in 2 weeks why
did we spend the next 4 or 5 years systematically destroying
the entire country? We did it to create a massive debt rebuilding Iraq. That debt is secured by Iraq’s oil. Oil sold
for US dollars….Does it all make sense now??
fred54,
very true! The military industrial complex which Eisenhower warned us about has been here for sometime and it has teamed up with the banksters.

One reason: JEW
America should let Iran help them with this oil spill. We could benefit a lot from this since I’ll be they’ve cleaned this kind of thing up before. Iran is no enemy of mine, and I think it’s way past time those two silly governments started getting along better.
Living in the US I’m much more fearful of the US government than the Iranian government.
The entire purpose of war is to make rich people richer. Make money selling weapons, weapons get used destroying things, make more money rebuilding what got destroyed along with selling more weapons to replace the ones used. The ultimate racket. Don’t worry about all the dead and maimed people.
Of course if most people weren’t such stupid suckers, they wouldn’t put up with this, but they keep falling for the same crap, fighting for our freedom, national security, defending our way of life, the hate us because we’re free…
Just keep throwing your money and your children’s lives into the military meat grinder so some rich scumbags who already have more money than they can spend in a thousand lifetimes can have more than they can spend in two thousand lifetimes.
