Marriage is a contract between two people and the state where they live. This contract in America gives them 1138 Federal and State rights of property, inheritance, family relations, taking care of their children, health-related rights, Social Security, insurance, and adoption rights. How would you replace all those contractual agreements without marriage?
Now if you are thinking that marriage is a religious issue, you would be incorrect. In America the religious wedding ceremony does not confer any legal contractual rights to the couple having a wedding. Only when that couple signs a marriage license issued by the state and files it with the state do they have any of the 1138 Federal and state marriage rights.
What we need is unconditional constitutional equality for all Americans, which is never dependent on the acceptance, agreement, approval,, respect, understanding or tolerance of tyrannical theocRATs who believe they have the right to deny anyone they don’t look like, love like or believe alike equal rights, while expecting them to pay taxes to support their heterosupremacist lifestyle.

BTW, if you are a homosexual; having a marriage every weekend is still not going to treat your mental illness of Homosexualism. So, what word in the dictionary are you planning to screw up next? . . . Closet? Phobia? . . . Straight? . . . Kitchen? . . . Confident? . . . Crooked? . . . And also, the medical world is not at all claiming that you have Downs Syndrome. You can be afflicted with a mental illness without being confined to a hospital . . . Just as your outlandish sexual desires which turn masterbation into some kind of orientation, doesn’t give you any more rights to ANYTHING anymore than anyone else. You are already just as equal as anyone else.
