Ron Paul spammers gathered in San Antonio this past Saturday for a rally, press conference and a fundraiser. Below are some pictures (please excuse the quality, I forgot the camera and had to use my iPhone) of the days progression.
Prior to my arrival, I was told some spammers paraded down the street along with this float:
As we were waiting at the Calvary Museum for Ron Paul’s arrival, and the rally to begin, the Gestapo decided that carrying, or wearing, anything bearing “Ron Paul” wasn’t allowed on the public side-walk:
This kid’s shirt sums up my thoughts on the matter:
After the Ron Paul spammers were safely standing on the street instead of the dangerous sidewalk, the Gestapo disappeared and Ron Paul arrived:
Dr. Paul then gave a speech:
After the speech, Dr. Paul led the spammers down the street to the front of the Alamo where he held a press conference:
The final event was a fundraiser at the Buckhorn Museum. The crowd was huge. Video here.
At the fundraiser, I met Pat Dixon and Bob Smither in person for the first time. I also talked to two of Ron Paul’s grandsons; one of which told me that he reads this blog and that he had added this blog to his grandfather’s favorites.
Tanya Trout has another hands-on account here.
MySanAntonio.com covered the event here (short video clip included).
The San Antonio Toll Party also covered the event here.
Update: Below is a good video overview of the entire day:

Mike,
What an incredible video! You did such a great job and I am complete impressed by the wonderful footage you got! I’m glad that I was even just a small part of this event and that so many people enjoyed it! Thanks for posting the video!

Hi Tanya,
The video wasn’t mine, sorry for not making that clear. I took the pictures, but found the video here:
