Rumor has it that Ron Paul may chose Walter Williams as his running mate. Human Events briefly descibes Dr. Williams by saying:
Dr. Williams is a nationally syndicated columnist, former chairman of the economics department at George Mason University, and author of More Liberty Means Less Government

The only thing that concerns me about Dr. Williams is that he is extremely accomplished and intelligent. The masses usually go for idiots like Dubya and Fruity Rudy, unfortunately.
I think Colin Powell, though not an idiot, would be a good choice.
