After Ron Paul was getting too many votes in their bogus poll a couple weeks ago, 2008HorseRace.com (or more appropriately, 2008HoaxRace) removed, banned and defamed Ron Paul on their website. Alleging that their poor little feelings were hurt when people expressed displeasure, they went so far as to label the Honorable Dr. Ron Paul an “Ass”. If you hadn’t quite figured out how childish neocons were up until now, this is a prime example.
Now that their little temper tantrum has subsided, they decided to graciously reinstate Ron Paul’s name to their poll. The only problem is, the new poll is grossly fraudulent.
After Dr. Paul’s name was added, observers noted that his vote totals were quickly dwindling. He went from 103 votes down to 60. Then again from 69 votes to 64. And finally from 9 votes down to 2, where his vote total stands at the time of this writing. Another prime example of neocon tactics.
As I said before, Ron Paul scares the hell out of the big-government socialists. They will use every dirty, rotten and immoral trick in the book to try to keep him down. The good thing is, Ron Paul’s supporters aren’t putting up with their nonsense this time – and that is reason to be optimistic. The more the statists reveal their true nature, the stronger Ron Paul’s support becomes.

Kinda makes you wonder how much integrity those electronic voting machines will have when “elecronic votes” are so easily changed to suit the desires of those who are counting. Even though I am also running for President, I wish very much that Ron Paul would get the Republican nomination.
I watched as the votes were being fixed. I was banned for mentioning the problem on the comment section.
I also have no faith in the voting machines. How easy to fix and election, as if it were not already happening, I fear for the future if we don’t back our votes up with paper ballots.
This site is obviously run by some jackass who is both trying to make a buck through ad revenue (he has like 10 or so ads on the front page) and has his own political preference. It’s an amateur operation, not big media or a part of some conspiracy. Best way to deal with them is to expose them, and move on.
Right on Mike, expose the creeps and move on.
Hmmmm. Ron Paul had 108 votes when I checked last night. Now he has 15. That is odd.
Wow. I asked in the comments very nicely why his numbers were going down and whether there was evidence that someone was using a robot, such as multiple votes all within the same few minutes. It took a total of 3 minutes before my comment was deleted and my IP was banned.
I was honestly asking nicely and even setting up the admin to address the question by saying “yes, there is evidence of a robot.”
All I can say, is if someone IS using a robot, then they shouldn’t have much trouble pulling of a DoS attack. I’m just sayin’. ;)
Okay it’s gotten completely ridiculous.
As of 8:50 pm, Thursday the 15th (March), they have the word “spammer” on Ron Paul’s picture. They also list him as “Ron Paul is a horse’s ass”.
I won’t deign to even comment about it on their site, just going to ignore it and find better polling sites.
Do get mad just laugh at them. I created a replacement poll for the bogus one. I do think you are wrong about it being neo-con cause I think the guy is pushing for clark who hasn’t even declared. But I could be wrong.
Go to http://www.2008horserace.info and vote there. The site also links to campaign gear.
I would remove the link to that neocon fraud and force people to copy & paste it if they want to go there…it just helps their google ranking having a blog one way link to them. Just a thought….
This person’s crappy little site is living off of the angry Ron Paul traffic. It is kinds like the Howard Stern shock jock effect. People who like him listen an average of about an hour a day, people who dislike him listen to him a little over 2.5 hours a day. When asked why they tuned in they would state almost identical reasons “they just wanted to see what he would say next”
So these creeps know that Dr. Paul has a massive following and they tap into that by defaming him in hopes that it will generate more traffic to their site. So expose em then most importantly STARVE EM, DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE AND THEIR ADVERTISERS WILL SEE THE REDUCTION IN TRAFFIC AND PULL OUT THEIR DOLLARS AND THE SITE WILL CEASE TO EXIST. it is really that simple.
